Eiry, a good warning!Sinead Gillespiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17352201806344361031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5421995784985310636.post-89837838377989947122011-04-05T12:26:27.204-07:002011-04-05T12:26:27.204-07:00I agree, Sinead. Just as well to note that posts on the web are there ad infinitum, so words written in haste could be long repented at leisure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5421995784985310636.post-57179309843121333852011-03-21T10:31:08.732-07:002011-03-21T10:31:08.732-07:00I couldn’t agree more, Sinead. But rounding on someone, resorting to insult, sarcasm or deliberately upsetting someone is bullying, end of. Facelessness makes it worse somehow. Of course, it is always possible to inadvertently hurt a person’s feeling, but an apology is just as easily offered as an opinion, be it on a forum or anywhere else. Be kind to people new to forums who might offer information in the interests of sharing. Don’t put them down. And don’t “get behind” the perpetrator of bullying. It’s cruel and immature—and eventually people won’t want to be part of your gang.Leannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04133757086575846849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5421995784985310636.post-29575650138133541362011-03-21T10:14:03.658-07:002011-03-21T10:14:03.658-07:00In cyberspace nobody knows that you are a cat as o...In cyberspace nobody knows that you are a cat as our loo postcard demonstrated! Mind you, nobody knows if you are a 14 year old girl or a 45 year old perv either. More to the point is that nobody really knows your agenda.Ian Boyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03359492550248390761noreply@blogger.com
